ATMOX Attic Ventilation – Pipe Fan – 225 CFM – Joist Mount
The Pipe Fan is easy to install and designed to mount on a joist inside an attic or crawl space. The fan is compatible for use in conjunction with ducting. As a result, airflow is directed to otherwise inaccessible areas. The fan addresses “dead” spaces in the crawl space or attic by increasing air flow to areas that would not otherwise get ventilation from exhaust or intake fans. This often happens in homes where decks, porches or garages create “dead” corners in the crawl space or where attics are separated.
The Pipe Fan is one component of the ATMOX System. It uses a unique combination of fans, sensors and controls to decrease heat and moisture levels in the attic. The system works to control moisture and heat reduction through ventilation. In other words, in the summer, the air flow moves the excessive heat out and in the winter, the air flow pulls out the trapped moisture.
In a crawl space, the ATMOX System offers a moisture control system through the use of smart ventilation and dehumidification. As a result of the use of ATMOX Controls, the fans will only run at optimal times.
With the ATMOX controls, a low voltage 12V DC wire gets power to the fans. This means that the setup of all components (not including a dehumidifier) will run from one electrical outlet. This allows for a simple installation, and it minimizes or eliminates the need for an electrician at the installation.
An AC Adapter powers these fans in a standard outlet. In this setup, the crawl space fans will run continuously.
