ATMOX Foundation Exhaust Fan – 225 CFM – Multi-Mount

The design of this foundation exhaust fan allows for a variety of configurations in a crawl space. This exhaust fan configuration is primarily for use in a basement or crawl space. The vent fans with a louvered face plate keep the area closed when not in operation. In order to direct air to the hard-to-reach areas, add ducting to the fan. The foundation exhaust fan is for use in both vented and encapsulated crawl spaces.

These vent fans are one component of the ATMOX System. There are many different ATMOX products to incorporate depending on your needs and issues. The system uses an ATMOX controller, fans and/or dehumidifier for the actual drying or moisture control. However, the ATMOX setup is not just fans and/or a drying unit. It is a smart solution using the  ATMOX ACE Controller, the brain of the system, to determine the best operation to improve conditions within your crawl space. It does this through analysis of the combination of dew point, temperature, and humidity. Therefore, the components will run only at optimal times reducing energy consumption. ATMOX is focused not only on removing excess moisture and energy efficiency but also on air quality. In order to be healthier, indoor air needs to be exchanged with fresh air.

Powering the Fans

The ATMOX controls use a low voltage 12V DC wire to power the fans. As a result, the setup of all components (not including a dehumidifier) will run from one electrical outlet. This allows for simple installation, and minimizes or eliminates the need for an electrician at the installation.

An AC Adapter can power these fans in a standard outlet, so in this setup the crawl space fans will run continuously.
