Crawl Space:

This exhaust fan is mounted on a 10 x 22 inch plate and has an optional louver (included). In a crawl space, the mounting plate is designed to fit behind most 8 x 16 inch vent openings. The louver can be attached to the fan to keep the crawl space closed when the fan is not running.

Attic:

This fan is also used without the louver in attics for placement in ridge vents or gables. Louver comes attached to fan and is easily removed from fan with screwdriver for use in attic.
